Sync your brain with your game. NeuroSync coaches you live while you play Dota 2 — and, with a NeuroFocus EEG headset, records your FlowState (focus and stress) on top of every kill, death and teamfight, then shows you where your mental game broke and what to train next.
01Install
- Both platform links above open the latest GitHub release. Grab the Windows installer (Dota-2-Companion-Setup-….exe) or the macOS build (…-arm64.dmg for Apple-silicon Macs).
- Run it — the app generates your Game State Integration config and installs it into Dota automatically when it can find your Steam folder.
02Add your OpenAI key — optional
- In Settings, add an OpenAI API key to light up the AI features: item builds, draft vision, the coach, and deep analysis.
- Everything else — timers, grades, the FlowState strip — works without it.
03Play
- Start NeuroSync, then queue up. Arm screen capture when prompted at draft — that powers both the auto hero detection and the video-synced review.
- Playing with a NeuroFocus EEG headset? Your FlowState is recorded on top of the match for the post-game review.
04After the match
- Close the match and the app becomes NeuroFocus Studio: your full stat sheet, recent-match history via OpenDota, and TraceLog — where your recorded session meets the screen recording.
- Hit “Deep analysis” and every focus dip is tied to what was happening in the game, with one trainable habit for next time. Every moment is a click that seeks the video.
05Privacy
Read-only, advisory-only, local-first: it only listens to Valve’s official Game State Integration, binds to 127.0.0.1, and your neural data never leaves your machine. No memory reading, no input automation.
